Water Efficiency Mobilization: Industry - Water Meeting was held at Kocaeli Congress Center with the participation of TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı.

Making an opening speech at the meeting, TOBB Board Member Burkay stated that water is seen as an unlimited resource in Türkiye and if necessary measures are not taken, Türkiye will be among the countries suffering from water scarcity in the coming period. Burkay also emphasized that there are water scarcity warnings from every region regardless of the region and that water resources are now reached at 500-600 meters.

During the program, protocols on water efficiency in industry were signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
