Traffic safety performance indicator meeting

The Traffic Safety Performance Indicator meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) with the participation of representatives of the Turkish Road Passenger Transportation and Turkish Transportation and Logistics Assemblies, the Federation of Drivers and Automobilists of Türkiye, the Gendarmerie Traffic Department, the General Directorate of Security Traffic Directorate and the Social Security Institution Guidance and Inspection Directorate.​

At the meeting, it was emphasized that in order to strengthen the training capacity in the commercial freight and passenger transportation sector, it is important to prevent unregistered employment, improve working conditions and similar purposes, and a consensus was reached to establish an “Active Driver Common Database” system.
