TOBB Türkiye E-Commerce Council convened in Ankara

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) E-Commerce Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ozan Acar, President of the Council, with the participation of TOBB Board Members Selçuk Öztürk and İbrahim Burkay via video conference, Çağatay Yasin Karaboğa, Head of E-Commerce Department of the Ministry of Trade, GS1 General Manager Elif Müftüoğlu, General Directorate of Domestic Trade and General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance experts.​

The meeting started with the informative presentation of the GS1 Foundation and continued with the briefing of the activities carried out by the TOBB Türkiye E-Commerce Council in the last 3 months. Then the agenda proposals of the Council Members were evaluated.

Afterwards, the Ministry of Trade informed the Members of the Council on commercial advertisements, the 2024 activities of the e-commerce sector and the ETK compliance processes.
