Of the 4,551 capacity reports approved in May; 1,180 were issued in İstanbul, 328 in Bursa, 324 in Ankara, 272 in İzmir, 221 in Konya, 152 in Gaziantep, 135 in Kocaeli, 113 in Adana, 111 in Tekirdağ, 98 in Kayseri.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database was 97,064 in May 2023, it decreased by 1.1% (1,072 units) to 95,992 in May 2024.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 1.5% (61,013) from 3,943,161 in May 2023 to 4,004,174 in May 2024.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
