TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk gave information about their work in her opening speech.

Öztürk said, “We carry out activities and projects to increase women entrepreneurship, women employment and the number of women in management. On May 8, 2024, I attended the meeting of the “100 Students 100 Women Entrepreneurs in the 100^th Year” project with the invitation of Çanakkale Women Entrepreneurs Council. Within the scope of the project, 100 female students studying in different departments of the university met with 100 women entrepreneurs. I find the project very valuable for women entrepreneurs to guide female students, share their experiences, guide them for the steps they will take after graduation, and ensure that they own their professions. It is a project that we can implement in 81 provinces. We will share the details with you. On May 10, 2024, I went to Bursa upon an invitation I received for Mother's Day. On this occasion, I had the chance to meet with our Bursa president and Council members.We realized a first, all past Bursa KGK provincial presidents were invited to the meeting. Those who could not attend expressed their connected online. I would like to ask you again, benefit from the experience of your past presidents, they have given a lot of effort to the Council. On June 5, 2024, we had a meeting with KAGIDER President Esra Bezircioğlu, Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ and Council Member Senur Akın Biçer at TOBB İstanbul Building. We had a meeting on how we can support each other in women's empowerment.”

In her opening speech, TOBB Council Member Işınsu Kestelli stated that as the umbrella organization of the business world, they have always advocated that women's increased participation in business life would strengthen Türkiye and that the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council has become the brand name of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship network in our country. Kestelli also pointed out that the main task of the Councils is to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in the provinces.

Prof. Dr. Banu Metin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Işıl Kurnaz Baltacı gave a briefing on the results of the project on the Project for Promoting Registered Women Employment (Women-Up), which is co-financed by the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union and implemented by the Social Security Institution.

Executive Council Member Ümran Beba gave information about the Million Women Mentor Project in her presentation. Stating that the Million Women Mentor Program is a free mentoring movement that brings together young girls between the ages of 15-25 and industry leaders on a digital platform and supports the career goals of young girls, Beba shared the project's goals, stakeholders, conditions for becoming a mentor/mentee, and gave examples of sample stakeholders.

Nurtaç Ziyal Afridi, Member of the Supreme Council, made a presentation on the work carried out at the United Nations (UN). In the presentation, Afridi mentioned the purpose and scope of the UN Women Unit, women's entrepreneurship and sustainable development goals, and then gave information about the women's entrepreneurship expo and the collaborations that can be developed.

Vice Presidents İstanbul Regional Representative Hatice Güner Kal, Fatma Aydoğdu and Western Mediterranean Regional Representative Serap Kocaoğlu shared up-to-date information on the projects they are responsible for.

Regional representatives provided information on the current status of the projects carried out by the provincial presidents in their regions.

The meeting was also attended by the members of the Supreme Council: Elif Ülger Yalçın, Emel Aksoy Gündemir, Filiz Akkaş Demir, Jaklin Güner, Mülkiye Alagöz, Zuhal Akyüzlü, Hande Öztürk, Sercan Özgen, Sevda Keskin, Yeşim Ugutmen, Deniz Celep, Ruhan Uzunlar Altınel, Nurcan Babalık, Deniz Hitay, Mehtap Çahan, Gülper Gündüz Yassı, Mihriban Akyüz, TOBB Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department Head Saygın Baban, Entrepreneurship Manager Duygu Kılıç Çanakcımaksutoğlu and Council Advisor Efsun Gedik attended.
