In the first 7 months of 2024, compared to the first 7 months of 2023, the number of closed companies increased by 28.3% and the number of closed cooperatives increased by 9.1%, while the number of closed real person commercial enterprises decreased by 36.8%.

In July 2024, the number of companies established increased by 4.2% compared to July 2023. The number of cooperatives established decreased by 5.3% and the number of real person commercial enterprises established decreased by 1%.

In July 2024, the number of closed companies increased by 39.8% compared to the same month of 2023, the number of closed cooperatives increased by 12.4%, while the number of closed real person commercial enterprises decreased by 41.5%.

- The number of cooperatives established in July 2024 increased by 74.5% compared to the previous month

Compared to the previous month, the number of established companies increased by 47%, the number of established real person commercial enterprises increased by 61.7%, the number of established cooperatives increased by 74.5%.

Compared to the previous month, the number of closed companies increased by 42.9%, the number of closed real person commercial enterprises increased by 56.5%, the number of closed cooperatives increased by 35.1%.

- No company establishment in Bayburt and Ardahan in July 2024

Of the 9,980 companies and cooperatives established in July 2024, 86.2% were limited liability companies, 11.1% were joint stock companies and 2.7% were cooperatives. Of the companies and cooperatives, 35.8% were established in Ä°stanbul, 10.9% in Ankara and 5.9% in Ä°zmir. No companies were established in Bayburt and Ardahan this month.

- The total capital of companies established in July 2024 increased by 35.3% compared to the previous month

A total of 63,972 companies and cooperatives were established in 2024. A total of 55,313 limited liability companies and 7,071 joint stock companies were established in this period, accounting for 72.1% and 27.9% of the total capital, respectively. The total capital of companies established in July increased by 35.3% compared to June.

- 3,364 of the companies and cooperatives established in July 2024 were in the trade sector.

In July 2024, 3,364 of companies and cooperatives were established in trade, 1,399 in manufacturing and 1,352 in construction. Of the real person commercial enterprises established in July 2024; 447 were in construction, 374 in wholesale and retail trade repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, 127 in manufacturing.

Of the companies and cooperatives closed this month; 1,051 were in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, 421 in manufacturing, 307 in construction.

Of the real person commercial enterprises closed this month, 597 were in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, 273 in construction and 157 in manufacturing.

- Of the 267 cooperatives established in July 2024, 180 were Housing Construction Cooperatives

Of the 267 cooperatives established in July 2024, 180 were Housing Construction Cooperatives, 46 were Business Cooperatives and 11 were Tourism Development Cooperatives.

- In July 2024, 681 companies with foreign capital were established

Of the 681 companies with foreign share capital established in July 2024, 434 were established in Türkiye, 22 in Iran, 17 each in Germany and China.

Of the 681 companies with foreign share capital, 91 were joint stock companies and 590 were limited liability companies. 561 of the companies established in 2024 were established in the Wholesale trade in stores not devoted to a specific commodity, 210 each in the Business and other administrative consultancy activities and Construction of buildings for residential or non-residential purposes.

77.1% of the total share capital of the companies with foreign partner capital established constitutes the share of foreign capital partners.
