Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in September 2024 decreased by 8.2% (370) compared to September 2023 (4,486) to 4,116.

Of the 4,116 capacity reports approved in September, 886 were issued in Ä°stanbul, 299 in Ankara, 274 in Bursa, 270 in Ä°zmir, 198 in Konya, 170 in Kocaeli, 151 in Gaziantep, 117 in Kayseri, 110 in Adana and 106 in TekirdaÄŸ.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database decreased by 2.0% (1,919 units) from 97,097 in September 2023 to 95,178 in September 2024.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database was 97,097 in September 2023, it decreased by 2.0% (1,919 units) to 95,178 in September 2024. The total number of employees according to Active Capacity Reports increased by 0.5% (18,415 units) from 3,978,661 in September 2023 to 3,997,076 in September 2024.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
