Before the meeting, the delegation visited Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Hatip Çelik in his office. Chamber President Çelik thanked the regional Provincial Presidents for their participation and stated that they are always on the side of entrepreneurs and made evaluations specific to the provinces.

Delivering the opening speech of the meeting hosted by the Mardin Dicle Development Agency, Hatip Çelik, President of the Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that the work carried out is a relay race, that every region experiences difficulties, and that the important thing is to walk in unity and solidarity.

In her speech, Deniz Hitay, President of TOBB Mardin Women Entrepreneurs Council and Regional Representative, said that women should be inspired by each other and that it is valuable to develop new strategies and work to strengthen women entrepreneurship.

TOBB Entrepreneurship Manager Duygu Kılıç Çanakcımaksutoğlu gave information about the activities of the Council and informed about projects planned and already underway.

Provincial Presidents made evaluations about the work done in their Councils and discussed the common steps and regional cooperation to be taken in order to ensure that women entrepreneurs take more place in the business world.

Halis Tuncel, Coordinator of Mardin Dicle Development Agency Investment Support Office, who attended the meeting, shared the financial support and training programs provided to women entrepreneurs and answered the questions.
