Number of Industrial Capacity Reports Approved in the First 11 Months of 2024 Decreased by 5.7% Compared to the Same Period Last Year

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in the first 11 months of 2024 decreased by 5.7% (2,750 units) compared to the same period last year and became 45,492.​
The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database decreased by 3.9% from 97,544 in November 2023 to 93,723 in November 2024.
According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 4.8% (192,522) from 3,986,827 in November 2023 to 4,179,349 in November 2024.
Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
