Subsequent Control and Rules of Origin Training

In 2024, trainings were organized in six geographical regions under the coordination of TOBB for the staff of Regional Directorates of Customs and Foreign Trade and the relevant Chamber employees regarding the implementation of the current legislation on the subsequent control of origin and circulation documents and rules of origin.​
The closing organization of the aforementioned trainings for the Chambers and other Chambers in the Central Anatolia Region was held at TOBB on 4-5 December 2024.
During the trainings, the work carried out by TOBB on all issues such as the sale and approval procedures of certificates of origin and circulation, the Automation System for Certificates of Origin and Circulation (MEDOS), etc., the requests, opinions and evaluations of the Chambers regarding the aforementioned issues were discussed together with the Ministry of Trade Bureaucrats. In the meetings, the problems experienced by the Chambers in the implementation of the origin legislation were presented to the evaluation of the bureaucrats participating from the Ministry of Trade, and solutions were agreed on in many topics that the Ministry deemed appropriate.
