In his opening speech, TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci, who is responsible for the Council, commented on the year 2024 and the agenda items and wished the coming year to be productive. Stating that they are always with the sector as TOBB, Büyüksimitci said that steps will be taken to strengthen the sector in the next meetings.

Council Chairman Altan Küçükçınar shared the December startup ecosystem data prepared by startups.watch and the 2024 Global Venture Capital and 2025 Venture Capital Forecast prepared by Diffusion Capital with the participants.

At the meeting, Dr. Damla Turan, Deputy Director General of National Technology, gave information about the Techno-Enterprise Council Activities, and Ahmet Cüneyt Selçuk, Financial Investments Unit Manager of the Presidential Investment Office and member of the council, gave information about the activities of the Presidential Investment Office.

Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), said that it would be useful to organize a workshop for the sector.

The meeting ended with the opinions and suggestions of the members of the council on agenda items, evaluations for 2024 and the investment ecosystem.
