TOBB Türkiye Packaging Council held the first meeting of the year

The first meeting of the year of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Packaging Council was held in Ankara with the participation of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil, and under the chairmanship of Mustafa Tacir, Chairman of the Council.​
Following the opening speeches of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil and Council Chairman Mustafa Tacir, the agenda items were discussed.
Representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the Ministry of Trade were also present at the meeting, where consultations were held on the Regulation on Recycled Materials in Contact with Food, the General Communiqué on Customs, and the Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste.
The meeting was concluded with a general evaluation of the agenda items and sectoral problems by the Council Members and public representatives and the expression of wishes for 2025.
