NÄ°YEP introduction and information meeting

As a result of the consultations between İŞKUR and TOBB, the Qualified Labor Force Training Cooperation Protocol (NİYEP) for the organization of vocational trainings to combine theoretical and practical trainings in public-private sector cooperation in order to train the qualified labor force demanded by the labor market was signed by the Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan and the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu on 23 September 2024 and entered into force.​
The introduction and information meeting of the protocol was held online with the participation of Ä°ÅžKUR officials.
The opening speeches were delivered by Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, and Samet Güneş, General Manager of İŞKUR. Oğuz Düzgün, Head of Active Labor Force Services Department of İŞKUR General Directorate, Mustafa Kemal Günay, Head of Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department of TOBB, and Ahmet Saygın Baban, Head of Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department of TOBB, participated as panelists in the information meeting.
300 people attended the information meeting, moderated by Aslı Parmak, Expert of TOBB Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department, and Burcu Levent, Employment Expert of the Active Labor Force Services Department of İŞKUR General Directorate, made the presentation on NİYEP.
After the presentation, Oğuz Düzgün, Head of Department and Burcu Levent answered the questions of the participants.
