TOBB Türkiye Paper and Paper Products Industry Council held year’s first meeting

The first meeting of the year of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Paper and Paper Products Industry Council was held in a hybrid manner at TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Erdal Sükan with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil.​

Following the opening speeches of TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Engin Yeşil and Council Chairman Erdal Sükan, the agenda items were discussed.

At the meeting, where representatives from the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Industry and Technology were also present, information was provided on the current situation regarding the European Union Regulation on Prevention of Deforestation, the General Communiqué on Customs and the European Union Waste Shipment Regulation.

The meeting was concluded with a general evaluation made by the Council Members and public representatives regarding the agenda items and sectoral problems and the wishes for 2025.
