The opening speeches of the meeting were delivered by Edward Scott Crossett, Project Team Leader; Mert Kuleoğu, TOBB Environment Manager; and Semih İlker Sanaç, Deputy Director General for Environmental Management at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

During the meeting, the project studies on determining the end of waste criteria for the enterprises operating in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass, textile, recycling and aggregate sectors were shared with the participants.

In the webinar, Project Assistant Team Leader Oğuzhan Akınç and Project Specialist Engin Turan made informative presentations on the importance of the concept of “End of Waste” in terms of circular economy, the processes of conversion of waste into secondary raw materials and draft legislation.

The program ended with the questions of the participants on the subject.
