“INSPIRE Creative Economy Summit 2025” in İstanbul

“INSPIRE Creative Economy Summit 2025,” organized under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, co-financed by the European Union and in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Creative Industries Council, was held at Beykoz Kundura on 29-30 May 2025 with the participation of Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology and Davut Gül, Governor of İstanbul.
Following the visit of Mr. Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology, to the exhibition titled “Seyyah” by Mr. Gökhan Doğan, Member of TOBB Türkiye Creative Industries Council, the opening speeches of the Summit were delivered by Mr. Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Davut Gül, Governor of Istanbul and Mr. Ahmet Şimşek, Director General of Development Agencies.
In his opening speeches, Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Kacır emphasized the importance of the creative economy on value-added growth and competitive advantage, and stated that our country's exports within the scope of creative industries exceeded 8 billion dollars.
The first day of the Summit ended with a gala dinner hosted by TOBB Türkiye Creative Industries Council at Cemile Sultan Grove.
On the second day of the Summit, TOBB Türkiye Creative Industries Council Members took part as panelists in the sessions on “Financing Creativity and Innovative Financing Models” and “Sustainability of Economic Success in Creative Industries.”
The two-day Summit program ended with the closing remarks of A. Ata Kavame, Chairman of the TOBB Türkiye Creative Industries Council.
