TOBB Participated in the CAREC Institute 5th Annual Research Conference

Representing Türkiye, TOBB was invited to attend the 5th CAREC Institute Annual Research Conference organized by the CAREC (Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Organization) Institute on 29-30 May 2025 in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Burak Ercan ERDOĞAN, Specialist in the Directorate of TIR Operations of TOBB Transport and Logistics Systems Department, took part in the conference.​

In the panel on interregional connectivity and intermodal logistics activities, an informative presentation about TOBB was made first. 

Then, the experiences of the Turkish customs administrations and the private sector in managing intermodal and multimodal logistics processes in the transit regime and ports were shared with the audience.

During the conference, ideas were exchanged with various stakeholders on what can be done to strengthen Türkiye’s trade and logistics links with Pakistan.
