Within the scope of the TOBB-YÖK Vocational School Education Cooperation Protocol, the first physical Protocol Coordination Board meeting was held with the participation of the relevant parties.​
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak, Member of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Arcaklıoğlu, Member of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, Rector of Kayseri University, Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, Rector of Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ankara Chamber of Industry. Yılmaz Çatal, TOBB Board Member and Ankara Chamber of Industry Chairman Seyit Ardıç, TOBB Vocational Education Board Chairman and Simav Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Şeref Kazcıoğlu, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yusuf Hacısüleyman, TOBB President Advisor Dr. Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, TOBB R&D and Implementation Department Head Mustafa Kemal Günay, TOBB SME Policies Manager Cahit Ceren, TOBB SME Policies Specialist / Lawyer Aslı Parmak participated.
At the meeting, the importance of cooperation with vocational colleges matched with the Council of Higher Education in order to strengthen vocational education was emphasized. The road map to be followed within the framework of the protocol, joint studies and technical issues were discussed in detail.
The meeting was considered as an important step towards strengthening university-industry cooperation and making applied vocational education more effective.
