Ä°zmir Province Deposit Coordination meeting

A coordination meeting was held in İzmir, one of the pilot provinces within the scope of the Deposit Management System to be implemented on a national scale, for public and private sector representatives on the field implementation, technical infrastructure and cooperation requirements of the Deposit Management System.​

Deputy Governor of İzmir Mehmet Sadık Tunç, Deputy Mayor of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Zafer Levent Yıldır, President of the Türkiye Environment Agency Prof. Dr. Ferhat Pirinççi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İzmir Chamber of Commerce Mahmut Özgener, provincial/district Chamber and Stock Exchange Presidents, local authorities, mayors, NGO representatives and city dignitaries attended the meeting held at İzmir Chamber of Commerce.

In his opening speech, Mahmut Özgener, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İzmir Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of the Deposit Management System and made evaluations on the application to be implemented in the province.
