Konya Province Deposit Coordination Meeting

A coordination meeting was held in Konya, one of the pilot provinces within the scope of the Deposit Management System (DYS) to be implemented on a national scale, for public and private sector representatives on the field implementation, technical infrastructure and cooperation requirements of the DYS.​
The meeting was held at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Public Works Meeting Hall and was attended by Governor of Konya İbrahim Akın, Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay, President of the Turkish Environment Agency Prof. Dr. Ferhat Pirinççi, TOBB Board Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Chamber of Commerce Selçuk Öztürk, provincial/district Chamber and Commodity Exchange Presidents, local administrative authorities, mayors, NGO representatives and city dignitaries.
TOBB Board Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Chamber of Commerce Selçuk Öztürk, in his opening speech, emphasized the importance of the Deposit Management System and made evaluations regarding the application to be implemented in the province.
