TOBB Türkiye Glassware Council discussed the prioritized problems of the sector

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Glassware Council convened in Istanbul with the participation of Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB responsible for the Council, and under the chairmanship of Murat Kolbaşı, Chairman of the Council.​
During the meeting, the high port costs and differences in practices encountered in exports were discussed. Council members emphasized that this situation increases costs and weakens competitiveness.
The difficulties faced by plastic kitchenware manufacturers in obtaining insurance were also discussed. TOBB Insurance Manager Mevlüt Söylemez also attended the meeting.
The outputs of the meeting with TSE were evaluated by the Council Members. Participation in the Ambiente 2025 fair and the impressions gained were also shared. The positioning of Turkish brands in foreign markets was discussed.
At the end of the meeting, information was provided on current developments in the steel sector and participants shared their suggestions for solutions to sectoral problems.
