Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The delegation consisting of TOBB Commodity Exchanges Director Dr. İslime Pınar Nacak, Engineer Özüm Rıza Karaca and Software Specialist Fikret Erden visited ÇAYKUR Agricultural Production Department Head Üzeyir Tekeşin in his office.

Apart from Tekeşin, Burhanettin Ak, Head of IT Department and Vedat Özdemir, Accounting Officer, were present during the visit.

Within the scope of the visit, Head of Department Tekeşin gave information about the tea production process, tea producers operating in the region, the licensing of producers and the work carried out for the registration of tea production and tea purchases. TOBB Commodity Exchanges Manager Dr. İslime Pınar Nacak gave information about the place, importance and obligations of the Commodity Exchanges in agricultural trade, tea purchases and sales and Commodity Exchange registration procedures.

During the meeting, issues regarding the registration of tea purchase and sale transactions by Commodity Exchanges were discussed.

Cooperation opportunities were evaluated between TOBB and ÇAYKUR on data sharing regarding tea purchase-sale and registration processes.
