Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Prior to the meeting, the delegation planted trees on behalf of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council as part of the National Tree Planting Day Event. After the tree planting, the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council delegation visited Osman Eliş, President of the Şırnak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at his office. Chamber President Eliş thanked the provincial chairpersons for their participation and stated that they always stand by entrepreneurs.

The program continued with the TOBB WEC Southeast Anatolia Regional Meeting. Presentations were made on the projects and activities of the provinces in the region. The meeting included an exchange of ideas on how entrepreneurship could benefit the provinces in the region.

The meeting was attended by TOBB KGK Vice President Fatma Aydoğdu, TOBB Mardin KGK President and Southeast Anatolia Regional Representative Deniz Hitay, TOBB Hakkari KGK President and Eastern Anatolia Regional Representative Sevda Keskin, TOBB Kırklareli KGK President and Thrace Regional Representative Ruhan Uzunlar Altınel, TOBB Şırnak KGK President Ayşe Ayter, TOBB Kilis KGK President Demet Kudeyt, and TOBB Şırnak KGK members.

In the second part of the event, the certificate ceremony for the “Women’s Hand in Agriculture” project was held at the Şırnak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Conference Hall. Following the opening speeches, the certificates were presented to the women who received them under the project.

Afterwards, TOBB KGK Vice President Fatma Aydoğdu gave a presentation to university students at Şırnak University on the theme of “The Floor is Yours: Youth Talking About the Future.”

After the discussion, Şırnak Governor Birol Ekici and Şırnak Deputy Mayor Zehra Güneş were visited at their offices.
