The event, organized under the Smart SME Platform with approximately 250 participants, brought together SME representatives, industry stakeholders, and technology suppliers.

The opening speeches at the conference were delivered by Hakan Sefa Çakır, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Abdullah Özdemir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mersin Commodity Exchange; and Bedii Canatan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mersin Chamber of Shipping.

The conference, which featured TOBB Presidential Advisor Dr. Hasan Çağlayan Dündar as a panelist, addressed areas that enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, such as digital business services, e-commerce, payment systems, cloud solutions, and digital marketing.

Expert speakers and technology providers shared practical tools, business models, and application examples that SMEs can use in their digitalization processes.

The event in Mersin was considered an important step in bringing SMEs together with technology suppliers, conveying current digital trends, and contributing to the digital transformation ecosystem in the region. Participants stated that the conference would provide tangible benefits to their digital transformation journeys and reiterated the importance of digital transformation experts.
