The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee convened for its first meeting of 2026 via video conference, chaired by TOBB Vice Chairman Tamer Kıran and attended by TIR Committee members.​

During the meeting, sectoral developments in 2025 were evaluated, and expectations and forecasts for 2026 were discussed. On the other hand, companies’ requests to participate in the TIR System and incidents involving companies engaged in international transport activities were discussed and decided upon.
