Turkic CCI General Assembly in Astana

The General Assembly of the Union of Turkic Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (Turkic CCI) was held in Astana. The General Assembly, hosted by Raimbek Batalov, President of the National Entrepreneurs' Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ATAMEKEN), who took over the Presidency of the Turkic CCI, was attended by Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the TOBB Board of Directors, representing TOBB.​

The meeting was attended by Mergen Gurdov, President of the Turkmenistan CCI, Vugar Zeynalov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ASK), Mamasadyk Bakirov, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Otto Ivan Rona, Ambassador of Hungary to Astana, Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Yüksel Akar, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO).

The General Assembly, attended by Assan Darbayev, Deputy Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as the guest of honor, also featured speeches by Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, and Merey Mukazhan, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States. In addition, Mustafa Kapucu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Astana, also participated in the General Assembly. 

 During the meeting, information was provided on the activities carried out by the Turkic CCI during Azerbaijan's term as chair, and possible activities to be carried out under Kazakhstan's term as chair were discussed. Following the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ayda Balayeva received the Turkic CCI delegation at her office and was briefed on their activities.
