The “Life Made Easy Digitally” Project Kickoff Meeting

The introductory meeting for the Digital Life Made Easy Project, launched in collaboration with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Türk Telekom, Habitat Association, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), was held in İstanbul, hosted by Türk Telekom.​

The opening speeches of the meeting were delivered by Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the TOBB Board of Directors; Ebubekir Şahin, CEO of Türk Telekom; Bora Caldu, Executive Board Chairman of Habitat Association; and Mustafa Ali Yurdupak, Deputy Representative of UNDP Türkiye.

TOBB Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz stated in his speech that the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council was established in 2007 and the TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council in 2009 with the aim of developing women's and youth entrepreneurship. He emphasized that with more than 15,000 members in 81 provinces members across 81 provinces, continuing to be the largest entrepreneurship network in the region, emphasizing that the councils have become project factories. Highlighting the importance of women taking on more active roles in social and professional life, Kopuz thanked the project partners.

At the meeting, women entrepreneurs who were awarded grants through the Life Made Easy Digitally Project introduced themselves and had the opportunity to share their entrepreneurial journeys with the participants.

The Digital Life Made Easy Project supports women entrepreneurs in increasing their visibility in the digital world, growing their businesses, and developing sustainable business models. Within this scope, participants are provided with practical training in digital advertising, digital content production, and digital financial literacy; additionally, the Mentorship and Grant Program aims to strengthen their ventures.

For the 2025 period of the project, 222 applications were received from 31 different cities for the mentoring program. A total of 40 women entrepreneurs were selected for the Mentoring and Grant Program. Following a 25-hour training process, participants were prepared for the preliminary jury evaluation through one-on-one mentoring matches. As a result of the preliminary jury, 20 women entrepreneurs were selected to receive grants. A total of 2,000,000 TL in grant support was provided in stages under the program.
