The ceremony was also attended by Seyit Ardıç, Member of the TOBB Board of Directors, Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the TOBB Board of Directors, Gürsel Baran, President of the TOBB Chamber of Commerce and Ankara Chamber of Commerce, and Osman Geliş, President of the Şırnak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).
The Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, KOSGEB, and İŞKUR will collaborate on a program to implement a 100 billion TL financing package with favorable terms for SMEs and large enterprises operating in the manufacturing sector by 2026.
Under the program, businesses will be offered loans with a 6-month grace period on principal payments and a maximum term of 36 months. The aim is to keep financing costs below market conditions. While loans of up to 50 million TL per business are envisaged, SMEs' access to credit will be supported by a guarantee mechanism, and SMEs that maintain their employment will receive 10 points of financing support through KOSGEB.
