In his opening speech, Tecdelioğlu outlined the sector’s goals for 2026 and emphasized the importance of consultations with public institutions and organizations.

Council members held consultations during the meeting, which addressed issues such as informality in the hardware sector, installment plans offered by banks, and rates and coefficients published under the new domestic goods notification.

The meeting, where briefings were provided by bureaucrats from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was also attended by Serdar Konar, Deputy Treasurer of the Revenue Administration Presidency in İstanbul.
