Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The meeting addressed issues such as increasing trade and investment volume among D-8 member countries, strengthening cooperation between private sectors, and making mechanisms for the business world within D-8 more effective.

In addition, the work carried out within the framework of the D-8 Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) mechanism and possible joint projects for the coming period were evaluated. The importance of supporting the economic potential of the D-8 geography with concrete cooperation projects was emphasized. 

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Mustafa Özcan, Director of D-8 Administrative, Legal, and Internal Affairs and D-8 TSO, and Halil İbrahim Uçar, Third Secretary of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Directorate General for International Economic Policies and Institutions.
