TOBB Turkey Private Security Services Council convened under Council President Hasan Gazi Özer in Ankara. During the meeting, public conception of incidences at sports events, universities and similar public spaces in which private security is commonly operates was assessed.​

The main reason behind incidents at university stems from the state legislation regarding hiring services.

Drawing attention to the fact that any changes to legislation by the government should be studied by the sector, sector representatives urged the plotting of a roadmap for the sector.

Also assessed during the meeting was the reprisal of the work health and safety legislation, its reflections on the private sector and the revision work underway for Law #5188.
