Applications are now open online for the 1.35 million lira investment support to be provided to aspiring entrepreneurs through the BİGG GARAJ program, carried out in collaboration with TOBB Economics and Technology University (TOBB ETÜ), ASELSAN, and Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) Karatay University, under the TÜBİTAK 1812 Support Program.

To benefit from the support, aspiring entrepreneurs who have ideas in thematic areas such as smart transportation, smart production systems, energy and clean technologies, communication and digital transformation, health and well-being, and sustainable agriculture and nutrition, and who want to establish their own company to develop their R&D and innovation-based projects, can apply. If accepted, they will receive 1.35 million lira in capital support in exchange for a 3% stake. Entrepreneurs who have completed 6 months and are deemed eligible by the investment fund may receive an additional 1.35 million lira in investment.

The technology-based entrepreneurship training, business plan development, and project writing training provided under the BİGG GARAJ Program, along with all mentoring support, will be delivered free of charge by BİGG GARAJ project partners and supporting organizations. Entrepreneurs will also gain access to collaboration networks, potential customers, and financing sources through TOBB ETÜ, ASELSAN, and KTO Karatay University.

- Application requirements

The requirements for applying for support are as follows: Be a student enrolled in or a graduate of any associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or doctoral degree program. Not have previously received support under the Ministry of Industry and Technology's Technogirişim Capital Support or TÜBİTAK 1512/1812 Program Phase 2. Not to be a partner in any business as of the preliminary application date.

- Over 25 million TL in support has been provided since 2015

TOBB ETÜ Technology Transfer Office has conducted entrepreneurship training programs in over 20 provinces and online under the BİGG GARAJ Program since 2015, with over 1,300 entrepreneurs participating in the training and over 700 entrepreneurs joining the mentorship program. Over 90 teams have been awarded more than 25 million TL in funding. TOBB ETÜ Technology Transfer Office has worked alongside entrepreneurs establishing their companies, supporting them in securing investments from Türkiye and abroad and bringing their products to market.
