Pan-European and Mediterranean Preferential Rules of Origin Training Sessions in Ä°zmir and Manisa

As part of critical changes made to the preferential rules of origin legislation at the end of 2025, the rules of origin between Türkiye and countries in the Europe-Mediterranean region—where more than half of Türkiye’s foreign trade takes place—have been revised.​

In response to the Ministry of Trade’s request to organize a training series in 2026 regarding the new regulations, the second phase of the training sessions—coordinated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB)—was held on March 12–13, 2026, hosted by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and the Manisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Exporters and their legal representatives who participated in the training sessions received information from Ministry of Trade officials regarding the new regulations and their implementation, and consultations were held.
