Aydın Chamber of Industry hosts Information Session on Green Transition and SKDM

Hosted by the Aydın Chamber of Industry and featuring Egemen Batmaz from the TOBB Environment Directorate, an informational meeting titled “Green Transition and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) in Türkiye: Current Status and Next Steps” was held.​

The meeting addressed green transition practices, which are gaining increasing importance in the industrial sector’s transformation process, as well as current developments under the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. Key topics regarding businesses’ competitive strength, export processes, and sustainable production practices were shared with participants.

Additionally, the meeting provided information on the current implementation framework of the CBAM, upcoming obligations, and key considerations for businesses during the compliance process.
