Prior to the meeting, the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council delegation paid a visit to Çetin Demirci, President of the Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at his office. President Demirci stated that the Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has always been a supporter of women’s entrepreneurship.

The TOBB KGK Eastern Anatolia Regional Meeting then took place. Discussions focused on potential areas and projects to support women’s entrepreneurship, particularly in Ardahan and across the Eastern Anatolia Region.

Presentations were made on the projects and activities of the provinces in the region, and the discussion centered on how to provide benefits to the provinces in terms of entrepreneurship.

The meeting was attended by Fatma Aydoğdu, Vice Chair of the TOBB Women’s Council; Serap Kocaoğlu, Vice Chair of the TOBB Women’s Council, Chair of the TOBB Antalya Women’s Council, and Representative for the Western Mediterranean Region; Mülkiye Alagöz, Member of the TOBB Women’s Council Executive Board; Elif Ülger Yalçın, Member of the TOBB Women’s Council Executive Board; TOBB Hakkari KGK President and Eastern Anatolia Regional Representative Sevda Keskin, TOBB Kirklareli KGK President and Thrace Regional Representative Ruhan Uzunlar Altınel, TOBB Nevşehir KGK Chair and Central Anatolia Regional Representative Gülper Gündüz Yassı, TOBB Eskişehir KGK Chair Elif Gürkaynak, TOBB Iğdır KGK Chair Duygu Kılıçtek, TOBB Kars KGK Chair Müge Kaya, and TOBB Ardahan KGK Members attended the event.

Following the meeting, a panel titled “The Impact of Women on the Economy: From Local to Global” was held at the Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Conference Hall. Opening remarks were delivered by Gizem Çınar, Chair of the TOBB Ardahan Women’s Entrepreneurship Council; Sevda Keskin, Chair of the TOBB Hakkari Women’s Entrepreneurship Council and Representative for the Eastern Anatolia Region; Çetin Demirci, President of the Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Nurten Öztürk, Chair of the TOBB Women’s Entrepreneurship Council.

Panelists included Fatma Aydoğdu, Vice President of the TOBB Women’s Entrepreneurship Council; Serap Kocaoğlu, Vice President of the TOBB Women’s Entrepreneurship Council, President of the TOBB Antalya Women’s Entrepreneurship Council, and Western Mediterranean Regional Representative; and Mülkiye Alagöz and Elif Ülger Yalçın, members of the TOBB Women’s Entrepreneurship Council’s Executive Board. The panelists shared their experiences and expertise with the participants.

The second part of the panel program featured the inspiring success stories of women entrepreneurs in Ardahan. The program concluded following the presentation of plaques.

After the program, a delegation from the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council paid a visit to Ardahan Governor Mehmet Fatih Çiçekli at his office.
