Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Opening remarks were delivered by Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel, Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Cemil Demiryürek, TOBB Kocaeli KGK President and regional representative Nurcan Babalık, and TOBB Yalova KGK President Hayrete Yenikan.

Following the opening remarks, Hayrete Yenikan, President of the TOBB Yalova Women Entrepreneurs Council, shared a presentation with the participants regarding the council’s activities. She provided information on the meetings held, the current status of projects, and council visits.

Nurcan Babalık, President of the TOBB Kocaeli Women Entrepreneurs Council and regional representative, assessed the number of women entrepreneurs in the region and developments in entrepreneurship during her presentation.

Representatives from the regional provinces attending the meeting - Buse Tellioğlu Altındiş, Chair of the TOBB Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Nedime Filiz Eğilmez, Chair of the TOBB Bilecik Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Sabriye Şen, Chair of the TOBB Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Elvan Bilgehan Dikici, Chair of the TOBB Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry - greeted the participants and shared updates on ongoing activities in their respective provinces.

In the final segment of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Senay Yürür, Vice Rector of the Department of Business Administration at Yalova University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, delivered an interactive presentation on “Effective Speaking and Leadership.”

As part of the regional meeting, participants visited the Bonsai Museum and Atatürk Mansion, accompanied by Galip Atik, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
