Ahmet Turan Gürkan, Director of the Agricultural Marketing Department at the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, briefed the assembly on the draft regulation regarding the supervision of traditional product names and geographical indications related to agriculture and food, as well as the use of the orange label.
Aslı Parmak, an expert at the TOBB SME Research and Consulting Center, briefed the assembly on “The Activities of Chambers and Exchanges as Türkiye’s Leading Geographical Indication Institutions” through her presentation, covering geographical indications implemented in collaboration between TOBB and Chambers and Exchanges, as well as EU-Registered Geographical Indications and Related Processes.
