Yvonne E. Cherrie, recently appointed as the British Consulate Commerce and Investment Undersecretary, visited TOBB and met with the Deputy Secretary General Ali Emre Yurdakul.​

During the meeting a presentation introducing TOBB was made to inform her about national and international activities. Undersecretary Cherrie stated that she would work to further the relations between Great Britain and Turkey.
