Commerce Registry Officials meet at TOBB for a training meeting

The Commerce Registry Officials Training Program convened at the TOBB Social Facilities Meeting Hall. Conducting the opening speech of the meeting, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz reminded that there were changes to the legislation and that their aim was to provide information to commerce registry officials regarding said changes.
Saying “We will be coming together more often from now on,” to the commerce registry officials, Saraçöz gave brief information on the seminar program.Customs and Commerce Ministry Domestic Commerce Director İsmail Yücel touched on the importance of providing relevant information on changes, “It was deemed necessary to provide training like this to avoid mistakes in practice.”

Stating that the feeling that the changes to the legislation were on taxation was mistaken, Yücel said that steps would be taken to provide a healthier economy and organization while allowing international comparisons to be conducted more accurately.
Customs and Commerce Ministry Domestic Commerce Director İsmail Yücel stated that a quiet revolution was happening in regards to the Turkish Commercial Law and that the secondary addendum to the law would go into effect on July 1st 2012.
Stating the transfer of commercial registry data into an electronic medium would alleviate the problem of information pollution, Yücel said that this would save substantial amount of time.
As part of the Commerce Registry Officials Program, presentations on “Changes to the Regulations on Profession Categories in Chambers/Exchanges”, “Primary Engagement Subject Submission Form” and the NACE Code System.
