​ Stating that her support against the troubles of the Free Trade Zones would continue, Minister Fatma Şahin thanked the Sector Council President Özmen and his entourage. The visit lasting approximately an hour, Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma Şahin pointed out the importance of Free Trade Zones for the country and stated that they held great importance for growth. Fatma Şahin touched on the importance of being open to communication and said, “If we are to a leading country we must put forth big projects.” Many issues were discussed during the meeting, ranging from the status of women to the country’s economy and employment problems. Minister Şahin stated that working together with the Free Trade Zones Council, every issue would be addressed in the new term.
