Speaking at the introductory meeting held at the TOBB Social Facilities, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz expressed that they had received lots of positive feedback from the Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Program of 2005 and pointed out the fact that those who had previously attended this program have since established important commercial relations.

TOBB Secretary General Saraçöz said, “We are holding the 13th iteration of this program which has been attended by 410 businessmen from 24 different countries and 3 autonomous regions. We will getto know each other during the program and plan for future commerce.” Saraçöz thanked the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education and TİKA for their contributions to the program.

Foreign Affairs Ministry, Director of Bilateral Economic Relations Damla Yeşim Say stated, “You are building strong bridges between Turkey and your respective countries. Turkey represents unlimited opportunities with its large domestic market and competitive industry.”

The participants of the ‘13th Turkish Speaking Entrepreneurs Program’ are active in the commerce of their country, among which are; confection, food and food machines, food packaging machines, furniture and wood working machines, construction and installation materials, automotive supply industry, cosmetics and hygiene products, tourism, projects, law and consultation.

The program which will start with fair visits in Istanbul will bring the guests to Eurasia Packaging 2011 Fair, Construction Market 2011, ZOW 2011 Furniture Industry Fair and the 6th Istanbul Food-Tech 2001 Fair.

As part of the program, the visiting entrepreneurs will have a chance to partake in bilateral talks with representatives of the member companies of the Ankara Chamber of Industry, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, Kayseri Chamber of Industry, Kayseri Commerce Exchange, Nevşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nevşehir Commerce Exchange and DEIK. They will also be visiting the Ankara Chamber of Industry 1st Organized Industry Zone and the factories in the OSTİM and Kayseri Organized Industry Zone.
