Yorgancılar demands improvements to the investment environment

TOBB Board Vice President Ender Yorgancılar attended the Export Oriented Production Strategy Assessment Council Meeting held by the Ministry of Economy. Yogancılar stated that it was imperative to improve the investment environment wherein 3 million are presently in need of employment, reporting that TOBB has provided its support to efforts to this end and will continue to do so.​

Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci stated that the global economic crisis which began in 2008 has yet to completely subside and that unless proper precautions are taken, it may recur.
Zeybekci stated that Turkey has fared quite well in 2014 in regards to the economy and reported that they expect a 5% growth in exports in the New Year.
He went on to provide more information on the current status of the Turkish economy touching on current deficit, 2023 goals, the Income Acquisition Strategy (GITES) as well as incentivizing of strategic investments.
