Holding the first council meeting TOBB Women Entrepreneurship Council Chair, Evrim Aras congratulated the newly elected council members and wished them all success.

Council Chair Evrim Aras stated that they would be working to encourage women entrepreneurs to join the workforce and to contribute to the national economy.

Attending council members emphasized the importance of increasing the visibility of provincial councils’ successes in order to provide an example to others as well as the need to facilitate cooperation with universities.

Council members drew attention to the need for reorganization of training in the fields of marketing and financial management with regards to women entrepreneurs, going on to point out the need to provide affirmative action in regards to incentivizing the employment of disabled women entrepreneurs and disabled persons.
