International University-Industry Cooperation Conference held in Samsun

TOBB Board Member Salih Zeki Murzioğlu attended the International University-Industry Cooperation Conference held as a part of the Project to Increase the Adaptability of SME Employee and Employers in the Global Economy (KUYAP) on the 7th and 8th of April, 2015, hosted by the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) and supported by the May Nineteenth University (OMÜ) at the Samsun Sheraton.​
The conference was attended by international and domestic speakers, university and industry representatives, TOBB representatives, project provincial chamber and exchange representatives, NGO experts and representatives as well as KUYAP Project Experts.

Examples of university – industry cooperation in Turkey, Europe and the world were discussed, stressing the importance of the issue as well discussing its development and solutions to the problems it faces.
TOBB Global Standards Director Deputy Elif Bilgehan Müftüoğlu presented her University / Industry Cooperation Research Report during the conference which lasted two days with over 500 people in attendance. Feedback from attendees in regards to content and organization was very positive, pointing to the importance of university – industry cooperation in the perception of those attending.
