The Day was celebrated in 20 cities where 21 EU Information Centers take place. In the event, organized in collaboration between Ankara EUIC and Başkent Organized Industry Zone, Turkey and EU approaches were discussed. Besides, it has been underlined that OHAS needs to be perceived as a culture. Mr. Francois Begeot, Counsellor, Head of Section, Financial Co-Operation, Infrastructural, Social & Regional Projects, declared in his opening speeches that this is not only a choice of the EU Delegation in Turkey, but is a collective decision of the European Union Information Centres located at 20 cities all over Turkey, which are kindly hosted by the chambers of commerce and/or industry, as well as several universities. This is a clear demonstration of the high commitment to create a safer working life on the side of our partners from the private sector.
