“Syrians Access to the Job Market” briefing held Bursa

Held in partnership by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the a meeting with the goal of providing information on the “Participation of Syrians in the Job Market as Part of Temporary Asylum” was held at the Bursa Chamber of Industry.
Ministry of Labor and Social Security Department Director İlknur Tosun provided information on employment of Syrian refugees, penalties for off record economy, permit applications for employment of foreign nationals under temporary asylum as well as various recent developments.
Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council Member Burhan Sayılgan drew attention to the fact that there are 93,000 Syrian refugees in Bursa relaying the issues encountered in the field and the proposals made to address them.
