Turkey Software Council convened in İstanbul

Turkey Software Council convened under TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay in İstanbul. Cengiz Günay stated the need to convey to our international trade partners the facts regarding the situation in Turkey following the coup attempt of July 15th, impressing upon them that only a 3%-4% has taken place in the markets, that there is no obstacle for investments and that Turkey will maintain its stance for freedom and democracy.​

Council Chair Elmaz stated that the “Shared Voice” project which aims collaborate with other Sector Councils to address the visibility and perception challenges the sector faces as well as increasing its market share.

Council Member Emin Bank gave a presentation detailing the problems facing software companies as well as providing information in regards to “soft_away” project which aims to utilize the Increasing Competitiveness in Service Sector (HİSER) Subsidy.
