Durable Consumer Goods Council assesses developments in the sector

TOBB Turkey Durable Consumer Goods Council held its July meeting in İstanbul. During the meeting, information regarding the TOBB’s correspondence with relevant Ministries was provided followed by discussions on the various issues on the agenda.​

Drawing attention to the fact that the most pressing risk for companies in Turkey recently has been company debts, a presentation on the matter of foreign currency debt and the risks incurred in this regard was given. The presentation which gave an overview of the economic situation in Turkey then moved on to issues particular to the durable consumer goods sector.

Also discussed was unauthorized customer services as well as the damage they do to consumers, companies and brands.
