IRU TIR EPD Seminars held

IRU TIR EPD Seminars were held in Gaziantep and Trabzon on the 23rd and of 24th of August, respectively, with the attendances of Kazakhstan Customs Authorities and IRU Representatives.​
During the seminars information regarding the works of TOBB in regards to supporting international transportation and the facilitation of international transportation was relayed to those in attendance. Information on TIR EPD, the backbone of the e-TIR project was also made available.
Presenting information on said issues were Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Chair Eyüp Bartık, IRU TIR EPD Project Manager Tatiana Rey-Bellet, Kazakhstan Aktau Port Customs Director Kasenov Temir, IRU TIR Guarantee Chain Director Vakhtang Zarandia, Kazakhstan customs Control Directorate Representative Dadikbai Zahrkibek, Kazakhstan Guarantor Institute Vice Secretary General Vitaly Poplavky and Maksim Khlystun.
Following the seminar program, the IRU and Kazakh Delegations visited Sarp Customs Gate to observe customs procedures in Turkey. TOBB subsidiary GTÄ° Inc. Co. Director Ali DurmuÅŸ provided information regarding the built-operate-transfer model.
