Zeybekçi and the delegation accompanying him discussed the events of July 15th and its effects on the economy as well as identifying new opportunities for economic cooperation between Turkey and Holland.
The delegation comprised of AKP İstanbul Parliamentary Representative Mehmet Muş, CHP Bartın Parliamentary Representative Rıza Yalçınkaya, MHP İstanbul Parliamentary Representative Arzu Erden and representatives of TOBB and various other NGOs as well as the private sector, underlined the spirit of unity and solidarity in Turkey.
Economy Minister Zeybekci stated that the 6 billion Euro bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Holland is not representative of its full potential. He went on to point out that the increasing bilateral investment volume between the two countries is indicative of their mutual trust.
Hosting the meeting, Dutch Industrialists and Employers Confederation Chair Hans de Boer emphasized Turkey’s importance for Holland and stated that relations between the two countries would continue to improve.
After the meeting, TOBB Board Vice Chair Halim Mete attending the public meeting hosted by UETD Holland.
